- Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a successful Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager, to cover Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Hull, Harrogate, Wakefield, York and Sheffield- in essence South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, East Yorkshire and West Yorkshire

- The Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager will be selling Commercial Heat Recovery, Air Handling units, Twin fans, smoke fans, axial fans, roof fans, supply and extract fans, controls and ancillaries.

- Selling to Mechanical & Electrical Contractors (M&E Contractors).

- Working in tandem with the M&E Consultant representatives, as well as the Main Contractor and Client End user reps, you'll be sharing project information across the team, so you must be a good team player. This is a project led role.

- Looking after and developing relationships with approximately 100 M&E Contractor accounts.

- Ideally meeting 3 clients per day and at least 2 contacts within each business, 60% of your time will be spent working with your project list and 40% targeting new business.

- You have access to an excellent CRM system, along with support from an internal sales team.


- For this M&E Contractor role covering Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Hull, Sheffield, Wakefield, Harrogate and York, you must be a confident, structured, competitive, engaging sales professional, ideally located on or close to patch- in essence, anywhere in Yorkshire.

- Previous experience of selling HVAC products is advantageous, but not essential, as excellent training is offered. An M&E engineer or consultant looking to move into sales would also be considered.

- Construction sales experience is a must, along with an understanding of how to protect, or break a specification, as you'll be working very closely with your M&E consultant led colleague.

- As Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager you'll be typically targeting Project Managers, buyers and estimators, within the M&E contractor.

- Experience with any product, sold into the M&E channels would be hugely advantageous.

- That could be lighting, cable management, lifts, security systems, air conditioning, cooling towers, chillers etc. In essence, any building services experience.


- £35K-£45K basic dependent on experience

- Monthly, quarterly and annual commission payments- Min £20K on top. Top achievers at this company earn £100k+
