Wanting a Field sales professional with the following; Experience of selling a mechanical product through specification to M&E consultants, Architects & specifiers, House Builders & property developers. - Our client is a highly regarded, innovative, ambitious manufacturer of domestic & light commercial fans, ducting and ventilation.

- They sell MEV, MVHR, dMEV, Extract centrifugal, used in new build projects such as Care Homes, High rise apartments, student accommodation, general housing etc on both private and social housing projects.

- They have a multi-million pounds turnover and offer excellent training, support and career advancement.

- They have award winning products & are leading innovators, regularly launching new, cutting edge products.


- As Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager, you'll be selling our clients manufactured range of domestic fans, ducting and ventilation solutions, such as Mechanical Extract ventilation (MEV), Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR), Decentralised Mechanical Extract Ventilation (dMEV), Extract axial, extract centrifugal.

- Selling to M&E consultants, Architects and specifiers, design and build contractors, property developers and House Builders. You'll then liaise with your contractor and distributor led colleagues, who then complete the project.

- These fans and ducting solutions are used in bathroom, toilet, kitchen, utility rooms or whole house projects, across general house building, student accommodation, high rise apartments, care homes etc.

- One day per week the Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager will be planning, 4 days per week on the road. Typically conducting 4 face to face meetings per day. Projects could range from £20k to £200k+.

- The Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager will also be involved in developing and presenting CPD seminars.

- You will identify new market opportunities such as national and regional house builders.

- You will seek out new business with the M&E consultant specification marketplace.

- As Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager, you will manage specified projects through to order with the relevant contractor sales person.

- You will be targeted to generate at least 10 new project specifications per month.

- As Business Development Manager, you'll be covering all of South London, South East London, East London, North East London, Essex, South Herts, Kent, Surrey and Sussex.


- The successful Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager will have a successful track record of sales success ideally with M&E Consultants, Architects and specifiers, design and build contractors, property developers and House builders.

- You will be a strong relationship builder, with drive and enthusiasm and a successful track record of project led, specification sales success.

- Ideally you will have experience in HVAC, plumbing, heating or controls, or solution selling with an M&E product.

- You must be a good team player, as you will work in tandem with the contractor and distribution led sales team.

- You will be career focused as our client has ambitious expansion plans and a track record of promoting successful employees.

- This role would suit an HVAC, controls, Plumbing and Heating specification led sales professional, really looking to make their name in a company.


- £38,000- £45,000+ basic salary dependent on experience.

- Up to £22k commission potential, paid monthly, quarterly and annually.

- Ford Mondeo type company car.
