Digital Marketing Manager, Digital Media Buyer – £35k basic salary & significant potential for career progression.
My client are a rapidly expanding e-commerce retailer who, due to significant new investment are looking for on-going double digit growth over the next 5 years. To support this growth they are now on the look out for a Digital Marketing Manager, Digital Media Buyer to join their small but rapidly expanding Head Office team.
This role is required to design, optimise and scale best in class paid media campaigns, including search, shopping and other Google campaigns, along with Paid Social campaigns. Ensure we meet or exceed performance targets and develop long lasting strategies to increase the paid channels’ contribution to the digital efforts.
Key responsibilities
1. Responsibility for day to day and week to week delivery of Paid Search and Paid Social initiatives, ensuring best practices are met consistently
2. Prioritise key Paid Media tasks within the wider business prioritises
3. Follow latest Paid Media developments; reacting quickly to changes in the digital landscape and taking advantage of new opportunities
4. Report regularly, using a combination of data sources to show true performance
5. Be a key contributor within the Digital Marketing team, working collaboratively to drive performance and raise the profile of Paid Media
6. Management and development of agency partners (PPC/Affiliates)
7. Management of other partner solutions for CRO/Personalisation
Knowledge and experience
A real passion for Paid Media; combined with the confidence, drive and energy to get hands on and lead the overarching strategy to grow the paid channels
Experience with managing paid search & paid social accounts in an eCommerce environment
Experience managing external agency relationships
Confident with data and able to report
Experience with Paid Search and Paid Social within eCommerce
Knowledge of Google Ads & Bing Ads platforms
Well-rounded knowledge of the broader digital environment and channels (SEO, Affiliates, email) and how they support each other
Working knowledge of conversion rate optimisation (CRO) is desirable
A desire to develop and grow with the needs of the business
Able to think creatively and suggest improvements and design features for the website.
