Job Description:

Join my Client as a Stock Control Coordinator, where you’ll play a pivotal role in optimizing stock control operations. As a key member of the team, you’ll dive into the heart of our supply chain, supporting our daily work routine, and ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with the team to raise purchase orders in our Sage200 system, ensuring
accuracy and timeliness.
– Act as a liaison between the company and suppliers/logistics companies, fostering strong
communication and efficient logistics coordination.
– Assist in meticulously checking documents against purchase orders, maintaining meticulous
records both digitally and in paper format.
– Support the maintenance of product records in Sage, facilitating accurate stock transfer,
adjustments, and entries.
– Handle queries via phone and email from various stakeholders, providing timely and
helpful assistance.
– Fulfill general requests from salespeople, directors, and management, ranging from
creating spreadsheets in Excel to data input/checks in Sage 200.
– Investigate and reconcile discrepancies in stock levels, collaborating closely with the
warehouse team to ensure accuracy.

Required Skills:

– Intermediate/advanced in Excel with the ability to utilize formulas, create spreadsheets,
use filters, and perform VLOOKUP functions.
– Familiarity with Sage 200 Accounts (or knowledge of Sage 50) and Outlook.
– Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat (PDF format).
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work
efficiently under tight deadlines.
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in numerical data.
– Positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
– Counting skills and ability to use a currency converter.
– Professional telephone manner and effective verbal communication skills.
