An exciting brand in the midlands are looking for a Group Finance Manager/Finance Manager to help cover a Maternity contract. You will need to be ACCA Qualified or CIMA or ACA Qualified. This is a fabulous opportunity to work in a diverse service lead business for 12 Months & learn a new industry. This will be paying £45k-£55k – Contract role – based in the Midlands near Lichfield/Aldridge areas.

Key responsibilities:

*Day to day management and supervision of accounts team
*Work closely with Group Financial Controller and CFO
*Assistance with the development and managing financial systems.
*Review Group Day to day cashflow management
*Assist GFC with long term strategic cashflow forecasting.
*Assist GFC with Budget Preparation
*Review of Group VAT returns submissions
*Review Landfill Tax returns submissions
*Manage completion of Monthly management accounts and reporting by the finance team.
*Preparation of monthly management accounts for one subsidiary company, including profit and loss, balance sheet, variance analysis and commentaries to specific deadlines.
*Actuals and variance analysis
*Operational support and analysis for other departments
*Assist GFC with Year-end support audit, year-end close of nominal ledger – Group Main payroll liaison with payroll provider.
*You will be managing a team of 8 people in the Accounts Team
