– THE COMPANY;

– Our client is a well established, hugely ambitious, highly respected manufacturer of capital equipment for the water filtration industry.

– Products include hot, cold & sparkling water dispensers, reusable & branded bottling systems, filters, accessories & spare parts.

– THE ROLE;

– As Key Account Manager, National Account Manager, you will be selling design led, multi-functional water dispensers that are used in the workplace, restaurants & hotels, leisure, hospitals & healthcare, education sectors.

– As Key Account Manager, National Account Manager, you will be developing relationships with circa 12 key distributor accounts, training the internal and external sales teams within those businesses to be product champions for you, introducing new products, supporting your clients in key meetings with their key customers, aiding in marketing etc.

– In essence, this role is about partnering with your distributors. Huge potential for growth within those accounts, as well as targeting new business.

– You’ll initially be building relationships with specialist drinking water equipment companies and there is big opportunity to also target plumbers merchants & electrical wholesalers, both independent and national.

– You will also work in tandem with the specification & contractor led sales team and you’ll share leads and opportunities.

– THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE;

– The successful Key Account Manager, National Account Manager will have a proven track record of selling products via demonstration, into the distribution, reseller channels.

– Experience at Key Account Manager, National Account Manager level would be advantageous, as you’ll be setting up trading agreements at senior level.

– An excellent distributor led sales professional, looking for the next step into key accounts would also be considered, as excellent training is offered.

– Previous experience of selling capital equipment through distributors would also be advantageous.

– You will be a great team player, with good attention to detail, as you will be setting up terms.

– You will be pro-active, with a can do attitude & a supportive personality, as your role is about helping the clients business to excel by confidently selling your products to their customers.

– A business led attitude.

– THE REMUNERATION;

– Basic salary of £42,000- £45,000

– Quarterly commission, giving a further £12K earnings potential.

– Car allowance of £400 per month, plus 45p per mile, or car- BMW1 series type.

– 22 days holiday, rising with service, plus 8 Bank holidays.

– Excellent 8% pension contribution from the employer.
