Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager / Media Sales Executive, having sold advertising space or media in a B2B environment to join a very well-established and growing media brand based in London.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling the companies’ advertising space in their retail publication to key clients over several different industries in the FMCG market. Strong presentation skills are essential with this role.

Our client is a market-leader in their industry, and their coverage of key areas within their field play a crucial part to their success. The ideal candidate would have previous experience within the FMCG / Food / Beverage marketplace, however this is not essential.

Responsibilities:

*Generating and following up on cold and warm leads; creating appointments with these leads, finding a solution for the client, quoting and closing.
*This is predominantly a New Business role, with a degree of Account Management involved.
*Building long-term relationships with anywhere from SME’s to Global brands
*Be a team player as well as being able to work independently.
*The desire to achieve and exceed targets
*To understand the needs of your client and being able to offer them a tailor-made package that suits them

The Ideal Candidate:

*Would have the ability to confidently pitch face-to-face with clients at networking events, meetings, via Skype/FaceTime as well as over the phone.
*Would have a desire to consistently hit targets and over-achieve
*Would be accustomed to managing themselves, their diary and their leads.
*Would have 3-4 years face-to-face sales experience
