My Client is a major luxury global retailer based in the UK.As they look to expand an improve their retail offering ,they are now looking to employ a dynamic and ambitious category manager who can help them drive towards being the best retailer in this category in the world.

You will be looking after a turnover of more than £50 million.

Your profile

* Degree level education
* 5 years of experience in Category Management and/or Merchandising or supplier management in the Retail industry
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with expertise in data extractions and interpretation
* Proficient knowledge in MS Office programs, in particular in Excel with knowledge of SAP a distinctive advantage
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, pay attention to detail and deliver accurate results
* Flexible personality, reliable and self-driven with can-do attitude

The Role
* Support the Head of Beauty for the preparation of the commercial plan for the UK
* Manage the implementation of these commercial plans monitoring performances of the actions for the brands in your portofolio.
* Introduce, roll out and review new brands introduction from its cluster of brands in line with global innovation strategy.
* Analyse performances of its brands’ portfolio (novelties, best sellers, promotions or any changes) and reports to the Head of Beauty.
* Ensure implementation of the promotions program (suppliers submission of sku’s and fixtures, validations of concepts, monitoring of stock with supply chain and monitoring of performances)
* Manages to relationship with its vendor for the UK, supporting upon request the global Brand Manager of its cluster of brands and involving the Head of Beauty when required.
* Collaborate with the Global Promotion manager to deliver the right Value offer campaigns, summer campaigns and Global campaign.

* Resolve day-to-day issues in a timely manner.
* Visit local market and stores regularly.
