Overview

Regional Operations Manager wanted for an expanding Bistro business

Location: Central London

Salary: £55-65k + bonus

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all restaurant locations, while maintaining high standards of quality, service, and profitability. You will play a key role in driving business growth, implementing operational strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction across all sites.

Responsibilities

*Oversee the day-to-day operations of two restaurant locations, ensuring all sites are
operating efficiently and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
*Develop and implement operational strategies to drive business growth, improve customer
experience, and increase profitability.
*Develop, monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for
improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
*Ensure high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and service are maintained at all
times, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
*Working with the onsite General Managers, manage and train restaurant staff, providing
guidance, support, and feedback to foster a positive and productive work environment.
*Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, finance, and HR, to streamline
operations and enhance overall business performance.
*Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety
regulations, food handling protocols, and company standards.
*Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and
cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
*Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify
opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Candidate Profile;

*Proven experience as an Operations Manager/Area Manager or similar role in the restaurant industry,
preferably in a multi-site environment.
*Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service standards,
and health and safety regulations.
*Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a
diverse team.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make data-driven
decisions.
*Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively
interact with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
*Proven ability to develop and implement operational strategies that drive business growth
and improve customer satisfaction.
*Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining
attention to detail.
* Flexibility to travel between restaurant locations as needed.
*Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field
is preferred.
