Brand Licensing Manager sought by Iconic British Brand as they seek to widen their Global Presence
My Client is one of the most iconic brands in British fashion retail and they are now looking for a Brand Licensing Manager as they seek to expand their product range and their Global presence.
If you have experience of working with licensees, and building sales for the company as a result, then his is a tremendous opportunity.
You need not have fashion or homewares experience, but you must definitely have a passion to work in this sector.
Specialising in English heritage style products, they have a strong brand presence and are currently undergoing a period of growth due to new investment.
2024 is set to be a year of international success, and this is the ideal time to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be someone with knowledge of the licensing industry, ideally in the lifestyle sector. Leading relationships with our licensee partners across the globe you will an ambassador of the brand. The role requires someone who is experienced in driving new business, negotiating commercial and contract terms.

Key responsibilities
* Key liaison with all licensees in ensuring brand DNA, product, and packaging guidelines are followed and appropriately adapted for global markets
* Management and development, including weekly communication with all licensees as to business updates;
* Work with Licensees overall business including marketing, new product development etc. in line with contract terms
* Royalty reporting including gathering actual reports from licensees and monitoring, and actively participating in the projections and budgets on a go-forward basis
* Work closely with the product and marketing teams as the front line of communications with licensees.
* Actively participate in strategy to grow business in existing and new categories and territories
* Support VP in finding new business categories, licensees & collaborations; analysis of white space opportunities
* Being aware of industry trends and insights. Attend trade shows, industry awards, as well as other PR events, to help raise the brand profile.

Experience of
– Brand Management in a licensing environment
– Business development & contract negotiation
– Financial management & budget planning
– Working at a Licensing Agency or within an internal licensing department in a similar role
– Will need to be confident at liaising with people both internally and externally at all levels
