My client is a leading, modern telecoms company, who have had phenomenal success over the last 5 years and continue to build their business of exceptional and talented sales team. They are looking for a Business Development Manager, who is passionate about technology, and hungry to build a successful desk of clients.

This role is office-based Monday-Friday, in Fareham. Salary package is £24k + £35k OTE (uncapped commission). Due to the location, you should either drive or cycle, as Fareham station is a 30-minute walk.

What does the role look like?
As a Business Development Manager new business growth, and building long-lasting relationships with clients, to ease repeat business. You will prospect for new business from a mixture of self-generated outbound, inbound, CRM, or marketing passed leads. Candidates who are hungry, driven, and naturally passionate about telecommunications will excel within this position.

You must Have:
* Experience working in a desk-based sales role
* Experience of self-generating new business opportunities
* Experience of developing existing accounts and growing share of wallet
* B2B/B2C outbound telesales experience
* Be driven, ambitious, hungry, and resilient.
* Working in a highly target driven/KPI environment
* Understanding of Pipeline creation, management, and accurate forecasting of results.
* Consultative selling with examples of habits and practices implemented

Responsibilities:
* You will be responsible for making outbound calls to identify and qualify business opportunities, selling a full range of products and services including Broadband, Mobiles and Cloud services, and telephony.
* You will identify and create opportunities to close and set appointments for the senior account managers, and field-based sales team to close
* While also contacting existing clients, a large proportion of the role will be working to build the base of new clients.
* Creating and selling the value proposition to achieve profitable re-sign and growth business – making the transition from volume to value to profit.
* Achieve/exceed business targets, expressed in terms of revenue, profit, volume and customer contact.
* Creation of an account/win plan for all re-sign and growth opportunities, demonstrating your own required actions and effective engagement of your virtual team, and ensuring your win ratio is at or above team average.
