Key Responsibilities:
* Identify lucrative product and brand opportunities, crafting ranges to capitalize on market demand.
* Take charge of sales and margin performance for your designated categories.
* Monitor market dynamics and gather intelligence to make informed decisions on pricing, delivery, value proposition, and product assortment.
* Cultivate strong supplier relationships and conduct negotiations at a high level.
* Handle negotiation and maintenance of terms and conditions with suppliers.
* Serve as a representative of the organization to both external and internal stakeholders.
* Forecast sales trends and utilize qualitative data for strategic ordering decisions.
* Collaborate closely with other departments to develop comprehensive category-specific plans.

Essential Skills / Experience:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a retail purchasing team.
* Proven track record in category management with a focus on sales and margins.
* Willingness to travel.
* Highly proficient in Excel / Google Sheets.

Desirable Skills / Experience:
* Experience in an e-commerce environment.
* Familiarity with Far East, hard goods import processes.
