The Food and Beverage Manager will play a crucial role in elevating our customers’ experiences by overseeing the food and beverage operations at our venue. This position requires a creative, customer-focused individual with a passion for delivering high-quality service and managing a team to exceed customer expectations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Menu Development and Management:**
– Create and update menus to align with customer preferences, trends, and dietary needs.
– Manage food and beverage inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
2. **Team Leadership and Training:**
– Recruit, train, and lead a team of food and beverage staff to deliver exceptional service.
– Conduct regular training sessions to maintain high standards of service and product knowledge.
3. **Customer Experience:**
– Oversee the food and beverage service to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for customers.
– Address customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance overall satisfaction.
4. **Quality Control and Hygiene Standards:**
– Implement and enforce hygiene and safety standards in accordance with industry regulations.
– Monitor the quality of food and beverages to meet established standards.
5. **Collaboration with General Manager:**
– Work closely with the General Manager to develop strategies for increasing revenue and profitability.
– Collaborate on promotions, events, and other initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience.
6. **Budget Management:**
– Develop and manage budgets for the food and beverage department.
– Monitor financial performance, identify areas for cost savings, and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.
7. **Event Management:**
– Plan and coordinate food and beverage services for special events and corporate functions held at the venue.
– Collaborate with event organizers to meet specific requirements and exceed expectations.
**Qualifications and Skills:**
– Strong leadership and team management skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Creativity in menu development and presentation.
– Knowledge of health and safety regulations and hygiene standards.
– Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
