Group Compliance Manager – Luxury Automotive Retailer – £85k basic salary + bonus + car

Our client is a market leader in the luxury automotive industry operating from a network of showrooms in the South of England. With a reputation for excellence, they represent one of the most prestigious automotive brands in the world. To support their continued growth and ensure compliance across the group, they are seeking a dedicated Group Compliance Manager.

As the Group Compliance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the company adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Compliance Oversight:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program tailored to the automotive industry.
* Monitor and assess compliance risks across the business.
* Provide guidance and support to business units to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
2. Policy Development and Documentation:
* Develop, update, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
* Ensure all employees are aware of and trained on compliance policies.
* Conduct periodic reviews and revisions of policies to reflect changing regulations.
3. Training and Education:
* Design and deliver compliance training programs for employees at all levels.
* Foster a culture of compliance awareness and ethics throughout the business.
* Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure training materials are current.
4. Reporting and Monitoring:
* Establish and maintain a robust reporting system to track compliance activities and incidents.
* Regularly report compliance status to senior management and the board of directors.
* Investigate any reported compliance concerns and ensure corrective actions are taken.
5. Auditing and Testing:
* Conduct periodic compliance audits and risk assessments.
* Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Implement remediation plans when compliance issues are identified.
6. Ethics and Integrity:
* Promote a culture of ethics and integrity across the organization.
* Serve as a confidential point of contact for employees to report compliance concerns.
* Ensure all compliance investigations are handled professionally and confidentially.

Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
* Proven experience in compliance management, preferably within the automotive or retail industry.
* Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as FCPA, GDPR, and industry-specific compliance standards.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* High ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
* Excellent organizational and project management skills.
