Key Account Manager Catering Equipment
Overview
A market leader in Catering Equipment Services are looking for their next Key Account Manager/ National Account Manager. This is a new role to look after some of their large volume accounts to offer them a Warranty and Machine Service offering. £50k-£60k + OTE £12K + Car Allowance. They have some of the biggest clients in the UK & Internationally with a global footprint – we are not talking just Hospitality and Hotels only; we are talking large corporate brands including Buckingham Palace! Offices is based in Berkshire and a presence across the globe.
This is truly such an exciting time to join such a busy territory & to work with some of the biggest clients with mass volume.
IMPORTANT: Experience needed for the role:
You MUST have experience in knowing your way around Refrigeration equipment. Whether that is being an ex-engineer for this equipment and now you’re into sales, or currently working in the Catering Equipment world – we need experience and will not look outside of this. It is important some of these very large clients are looked after.

Responsibilities will include:
This role is all about relationship building and making sure you are on top of the detail.
*You will have F2F & virtual meetings with our customers, prepare spend reports, analyse trends and renew contracts, as well as discuss best ways to help them achieve their requirements – all whilst maintaining our high level of quality service.
*You’ll have key customers – and be expected to know each one in detail.
*You will use your contacts from one key account to another along with peer references to open doors, and you’ll be part of the team setting the standard in their industry – for professional sales and after care, just as much as fixing cookers and fridges. Main point of contact and maintaining personal relationships with key stakeholders across their estate.
*Liaising with field based operational colleagues to ensure transparency and delivery of KPIs and SLAs.
*Achieve pre-agreed retention rates of contract via annual targets managed monthly.
*Taking part in networking opportunities.
*Manage and complete sales reports on a weekly basis providing commentary and forecast information.
*Maintaining accurate customer records.
*Reporting on performance weekly & monthly – as well as updating CRM with detail.
