– THE COMPANY;

– Are a rapidly growing manufacturer of roof windows, with a multi-million pounds turnover and ambitious plans.

– THE ROLE;

– As Key Account Manager, National Account Manager, you will be growing circa 12 key distribution partners spend, in line with the company vision & strategy.

– Covering the UK and Ireland, with business opportunity across London, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Nottingham, Leicester, Derby, Leeds, Sheffield, Liverpool, Manchester, York, Newcastle, Glasgow.

– Selling great value for money roof windows, the Key Account Manager, National Account Manager will develop long term partnerships with your distributors, through developing aligned business synergies & identifying areas to add value to the partnership.

– Your key accounts include National and Regional Builders Merchants, National and Regional Roofing Merchants, Buying groups, DIY stockists and e-commerce.

– You’ll understand your customers business aims and their customers & will recommend changes in products, services and policy by evaluating results & competitive developments.

– You’ll attend industry events & trade shows, analyse sales data, competitor activity & market trends to continually develop business opportunities as required.

– 70% account management, 30% new business. You’ll run practical & classroom training with your clients & their customers, to really support and develop the relationship.

– You’ll be working with Category Managers, Category Directors, Business owners and senior directors at procurement level.

– You’ll work on promotions & campaigns with your marketing colleagues.

– This is a strategic position within the business and your range of products will cover different price points. As such, you must align the product range to the specific needs of the customer in-line with business requirements.

– THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE;

– The successful Key Account Manager, National Account Manager will have a proven track record of key account management experience through the distribution channels.

– You will possess an enthusiastic, “do it now” attitude, be target driven & self motivated, with an entrepreneurial spirit.

– You will be a good communicator, both written and verbal.

– You will be organised, display management competencies & carry out tasks with speed, efficiency & professionalism at all times.

– You’ll be happy covering the UK, with overnight stays expected where appropriate.

– You’ll ideally be located around the Midlands, although not essential, as long as you’re located close to the main UK travel network of motorway, rail & air.

– You will have a strategic focus & be looking for a long term career opportunity.

– You’ll have a successful track record of selling to Category Managers, Category Directors, Business owners and senior directors at procurement level.

– THE REMUNERATION;

– Basic salary of £45,000- £50,000 dependent on experience.

– Up to 35% bonus potential.

– Company car, Mondeo, VW, Insignia type, fully expensed.

– Mobile, laptop, 25 days holiday, plus 8 bank holidays.

– Pension up to 12% from the employer, if 7% is put in from the employee.

– Private medical cover.
