Overview

looking for a role within the Property Sector but looking for something exciting and different keep reading! We are working with a Property Vacant business who look after 600 + empty buildings in London & offer a service to do them up & rent them out short term to working professionals. This is a unique but in demand service for Landlords and Property Owners.

We are after a Property Inspector to join this market leader; you will join a team of 5 others! £27k-£30k – Head office based in North London but your territory will be London.

Territory: London

Travel will ALL be paid for; you will be expected to use public transport as it is faster, and your appointments will be booked in for you by a reliable team.
If you did want to use your own car, millage will be paid for that!

What we are after:

*Customer Service experience, we want someone friendly but someone who also knows when to be firm
*We are after someone who is fine getting public transport (Which is all paid for) around London
*We want someone ambitious who wants to progress within the business, even someone who wants to move into a Property Management position in the future
*We need someone great at Admin but also great at the F2F stuff with the Tenants!
*You must be professional as you will be meeting clients apart of the Access

Let’s talk about what you will be doing? The role is in 2 parts, Inspection and Access.

Inspections

* Identifying and reporting Tenant, Fire Safety, Health and Safety, Environmental Health and
Maintenance issues to the responsible departments via Arthur On Line (AOL) application,
email property reports or any other requested format.
* Advising Tenants of safety issues/rule infringement and reporting these to the responsible
departments.
* Inspections to be followed through as per Code of Conduct, rules and procedures
implemented by brand, for whom the Property Manager is their primary contact
* Producing property reports and keeping accurate records in required format.
* Take Meter readings.
* Test Fire Alarms and record test results.
* Test call points and record test results.
* Emergency Lighting flick testing.
* Rectifying minor repairs if possible.
* Take action on matters concerning Fire Risk which may include physical action such as, but
not limited to, removing any items obstructing fire escape routes/fire escape doors, ensuring
all fire doors are full closed where obstructed by items holding them open. Before and after
photos to be taken once actioned.

Access

* Liaise with the Property Management department in order to provide access for clients,
contractors, council representatives, local fire brigade, Primary Authority and all others for
whom the Property Manager is their primary contact.
