Overview
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Trade Sales Manager to join this distributor of products for the construction industry. This is a varied role which offers great progression and would suit someone with supervisory and sales experience who is looking to progress their career within a great company.
THE ROLE
Managing a trade sales team within a busy store
Training and developing new and existing staff to ensure they are hitting sales targets and margins
Serving trade customers both face-to-face and over the phone
Managing a ledger of existing accounts and building customer relationships
Developing new business opportunities and calling lapsed and dormant accounts
Answering general enquiries, advising product availability, delivery dates etc
Issuing quotations in response to enquiries
Ensuring outstanding levels of customer service at all times.
KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Experience of supervisory or Team Leader experience within any retail / trade / retail environment
Exceptional sales and customer relationship building skills
Strong negotiation and facilitation experience with problem solving ability
Ability to identify and understand business opportunities and build long term relationships with customers
Excellent communication skills
