Stockroom Manager wanted for a growing, fast paced Fashion Retailer

Location: Central London

Salary: £32-36K + bonus

Purpose:

Join this dynamic team and play a pivotal role in optimizing operational efficiency to drive the success of the retail store. As the Stockroom Manager, you’ll spearhead the management of the stockroom and provide essential support to the sales team, contributing to our overall growth and prosperity

Responsibilities:

– Oversee all aspects of the stockroom, ensuring seamless operations to bolster the store’s
commercial achievements.
– Implement and uphold company protocols to maintain a meticulously organized and efficient
stockroom environment.
– Utilize data-driven insights to facilitate strategic decision-making that enhances store
turnover, aligning with our customer demographics and commercial objectives.
– Continuously evaluate stockroom performance, identifying areas for improvement and
implementing corrective measures as needed.
– Optimize resource allocation to drive productivity and efficiency within the stockroom.
– Foster collaboration with senior management and our visual merchandising team to uphold a
trend-conscious and brand-aligned stockroom.
– Lead the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of stockroom team members,
ensuring compliance with HR policies.
– Partner with security and our Retail Operations Manager to effectively manage loss
prevention initiatives.
– Provide constructive feedback on operational performance and actively contribute to
ongoing improvement discussions with senior management.

Requirements:

– Demonstrated fashion retail management experience of at least 3 years.
– Track record of effectively analyzing stockroom metrics and devising efficiency-enhancing
strategies.
– Ability to manage stockroom expenditures to minimize operational costs.
– Strong emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service within the stockroom team.
– Skilled in conducting engaging team briefings and motivating the stockroom team to
achieve success.
– Commercially savvy with a knack for driving positive outcomes through team engagement.
– Consistent adherence to HR and Health and Safety policies to ensure a secure working
environment.
– Experience supporting recruitment efforts and maintaining high standards in onboarding
and developing new team members.
– Collaborative approach to working with the operational team to optimize stockroom and
back area operations.
