We are looking for an Optical Assistant, but you must have worked within the optician world! This brand offers amazing services to care homes & sell qualified top quality optometry services into Care Homes! £32,000 Monday-Friday – with flexible working, some days you will be working from home as a lot of the time you will be on the road!
This is a B2B Optical Assistant role, you will not be working in a retail environment which means you will be working no weekends!
Fully expensed company car will be given, you must have a full driving license.
What will you be doing?
*Conduct pretests for patients and support the optometrist in clinic
*Dispense glasses with the level of care you would expect for yourself
*Deliver and fit glasses with precision to change someone’s quality of life.
*Maintain accurate patient records for continuity of care
*Provide outstanding customer service so that they remember you
*Repair glasses with skill and care
*You will have your morning meeting with your optometrist
*Go to clinic where you carry out the eye tests at the Care Homes
*Travel will be involved in this role
*Pre-screen, Eye test done, dispense order process then deliver the products to the Carehome Manager – posting can also be an option but it will be a 1-1 service to the elderly.
This role is perfect for someone who is working in store as an optician, you want to leave the world of working weekends and being on your feet all day, to finally use your skills and work in an office environment Monday-Friday and no day will be the same…. It’s making Optometry less boring!
The values of the business are very important, the team is specially trained to work with people who have dementia, learning disabilities or other conditions which require extra care and attention.
